Terms & Studio Policies

These terms cover lessons at Kossak Music Studio, whether booked through our app, our website, or with the studio directly. By enrolling, booking, or paying, you agree to the policies below.

Getting started

Prospective students aged 5 years or older are eligible for private lessons. New students begin with a consultation with the studio administrator to match them with the right instructor and lesson plan.

Tuition & billing

• Monthly tuition is due on the 15th of each month, for the following month.
• Payments are collected through the app via our payment processor (Stripe). You may also pay the studio directly by cash or check where arranged.
• There are no refunds for services rendered.

Lesson packages

• Payment for a lesson package is due at the time of purchase.
• Package lessons should be scheduled and used within 3 to 6 months of purchase.
• There are no refunds for packages. An unused package lesson returns to your balance to rebook, but is never refunded as money.

Cancellations & make-ups

• A lesson cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice returns to your balance to rebook.
• A lesson cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice is forfeited.
• A student who cancels in time is credited one make-up lesson per month, to be used within 30 days of the missed lesson.
• No money is refunded for a cancellation. Only the studio can dissolve a package or a paid lesson.

Instructor absence

If an instructor is ill or unavailable, the studio will either assign a qualified substitute or provide a make-up lesson or scheduling credit.

Drop-off & pickup (students under 18)

For any student under the age of 18, the parent or guardian must provide a list of approved adults for drop-off and pickup, or sign the studio's waiver regarding leaving the student unsupervised.

Recordings & media

Kossak Music Studio does not authorize the uploading of recorded lesson media to social media.

Privacy

Your information is used for scheduling, billing, emergencies, and studio communications, and is never sold. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
